Thx for the video. I had the same issues taking out the liftgate supports on my van. Mainly I think the problem lies with the soft metal on the new liftgate supports. But thanks for the size on the tap in case I ever need to rethread the liftgate screw holes.

What is the reason Toyota went with such a hokey set up as far as the oil filter is concerned, it seems unnecessarily complicated, especially when I’ve been using standard oil filters for the last 55 years of my life

2012 Highlander same exact issue horn wasn't working all other steering wheel buttons were good, you confirmed my diagnosis, did the same thing with panic button on alarm remote to confirm it wasn't a fuse issue. Thank you so much for this video saved me $200+ in labor, I got a new aftermarket part on ebay for 30 bucks… Thanks for all the hiccups you left in the video as well haha I was able to avoid the possible confusing moments and did this job in about 40 minutes. Wife feels safe in her truck again.. Honk Honk lol.

Most helpful part for me was 1:57-2:12. A simple procedure but frustrating if you don't know how it works. Used a screwdriver to push the tab. Also, "squeeze here and wiggle" was very helpful.

Thanks for the video. Heat and an air hammer wouldn't move that galvanized stud on my 05. I wound up applying pressure with a two arm puller and alternating between heating the stud and adding another 1/2 turn to the puller until it let loose on the third time I tightened the puller. Just be careful not to tighten to tight or you might break one of the ears. Luckily there are two on each side.

Best video by far. Great showing the mix of the trigger can and the valve can. Also explaining the way to use the temp section on the trigger can. Only thing I would include is how to tare and use a scale to do it by weight, and the manufacturer ambient temp to hi/low gauge reading chart. Still the best video out there by far. 👍

I have a 98 grand am GT that luckily has no rust but I’m disappointed that GM didn’t use trailing arms for alignment capability. I have rotted bump stops and this video helped explain how i would need to disconnect and rotate the assembly to replace the bump stops. I’ll probably never fix them as I can’t find any replacements and I likely won’t bottom out the car

No! No! No! LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PROFILE OF A BUBBLE FLARE AND THE FIRST STAGE FLARE OF A DOUBLE FLARE. The first stage flare for a double flare at a quick glance looks very much like a bubble flare. But TAKE NOTE, the base of that first stage flare is at 45 deg. while the base of a bubble flare is pretty close to 90 deg. and the end profile around the opening is flatter than the first stage flare of a double flare. One might get lucky but I wouldn't count on it.

I used an SAE tool to make DIN bubble flares because I couldn't wait for the proper tool to arrive. I wouldn't try it with steel but I think its okay because I was using nicopp with steel fittings. Good video, wish I watched before I needed new brake lines!

If the shoes look good, I'd still put some good anti-corrosion lube on the cable and the actuator lever before reassembling the rotor. If those rust up, the e brake shoes will drag and burn up. I speak from experience.
